1. What is the topic? What is it about?

The topic of my research is:

"Assessment of Readiness for Adoption of Technology in Health Information Management Systems among Providers in Private Health Facilities in Port Harcourt."

This study explores how prepared private healthcare providers are to adopt digital health technologies like Electronic Health Records (EHRs), clinical decision support tools, and other HIT systems. It assesses

  1. their attitudes,
  2. available resources,
  3. current technology usage,
  4. and factors influencing their readiness.

2. What study design did you employ?

We used a descriptive cross-sectional study design.

This allowed us to collect data at a single point in time from a representative sample of private healthcare providers to understand their current level of readiness and the factors affecting it.

3. What is your sample size and how did you calculate it?
